Devilla Forest Fire

There was a forest fire over the summer in one of our local dog walking spots and the result a few months later was absolutely lovely. The smell of fire was still in the air, but life was hiding under leaves and clambering out of the debris. The colour gradient of charred black wood, to burnt, rusty orange to deep, alive, green can be seen at the boundary edges. It’s funny how life springs back so quickly after disaster, nature continues to be so incredibly resilient.
