Wonder Rooms
definition: wonder rooms, from the german wunderkammer (literally wonder chamber) were small, personal collections of extraordinary objects, which attempted to categorise and tell stories about the wonders and oddities of the natural world (The British Library, 2019).
A modern day menagerie of the natural world. This is an ongoing project using photography and illustration to tell stories of the weird and the whimsical, with a special focus on natural history museum collections.
