Abandoned Hospital, Mooroopna

Mieka took me out to a nearby town called Mooroopna to explore the ultimate in creepy urban exploring: an abandoned hospital.

Granted it wasn’t exactly what I’d expected. I mean, it had the menacing dark corridors and broken glass and creeping branches and hilariously nonsensical graffiti, but what I didn’t expect was for an abandoned, burnt up creepy af hospital to be attached to an actual, inhabited apartment block. I guess the people who live there aren’t as terrified of the dark/ murderers/ angry ghosts/ teenagers as I am, because if I had an adjoining wall between my fairly nice looking flat (with a balcony over an alleyway lined with smashed and boarded up windows) and an abandoned hospital that has been set on fire multiple times, I would never sleep again.
